Badin Business Park
Badin Business Park is a business park located on the site of a former aluminum smelter operated by Alcoa in Stanly County. The 130-acre site has been described as one of the best industrial sites available in North Carolina due to the extensive infrastructure already in place.
ERI, the world’s largest recycler of electronic waste, signed on as the park’s inaugural tenant in 2011. Badin Business Park has since added several new tenants, including Custom Alloy (now Trident Maritime Systems) which signed a long-term lease in 2021 to produce critical components for U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers at the site.
Badin Business Park continues working closely with local and state economic developers to attract additional companies to Badin.
